Samsung has finally announced the date for their first big event of the year, Galaxy Unpacked, which is set for February 1st, 2023. They had accidentally leaked the date earlier this month. Although the company has not officially revealed what we can expect from the event, it is quite likely that new Samsung Galaxy S-series phones will be launched on this day. Based on past launch patterns and leaks, it’s likely that the new series, likely named the Galaxy S23 lineup, will include three models – the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series
It looks like Samsung has some big plans for the camera on the upcoming Galaxy S23 series and the leaks and hints from the company itself seem to confirm this. From what we have seen so far it looks like the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra will all feature some major camera upgrades but the S23 Ultra is expected to get most impressive upgrade with its new 200MP camera which will be a first for Samsung’s flagship phones. This is a big leap from the 108MP camera that they have been using on their Ultra branded phones in the past few years. And it is not just the resolution that is going to be impressive. It seems that Samsung will be bringing some really cool new camera features with this new series.
Samsung has a lot in store for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event and they’re not just focusing on phones. It looks like they will also be revealing a brand new series of laptops called the Galaxy Book 3. Along with the usual improvements in terms of hardware Samsung will be introducing a new laptop under the Ultra-branded. Furthermore the lineup will include Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. These laptops will feature some high-end specs such as AMOLED displays, the latest processors from Intel and much more.
The highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event for 2023 will be available for people all over the world to watch live on Samsung YouTube channel and official website. The event will begin at 10 AM Pacific Time (7 PM Central European Time and 11:30 PM Indian Standard Time). Samsung is launching their newest smartphones in the premier flagship Galaxy line a bit earlier this year compared to the Galaxy S22 series. Although nothing is confirmed yet. It is possible that the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra may be available for purchase as early as the second week of February 2023.
