Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur – Several top Premier League clubs are vying for the services of Brazilian winger Raphinha, who is reportedly available for transfer this summer. According to El Nacional, Manchester United and Manchester City are leading the chase to secure the 26-year-old’s signature, with a price tag of €40 million being mentioned.
Despite his high-profile move from Leeds United to Barcelona in the summer, Raphinha has failed to live up to his £55 million price tag, offering only occasional glimpses of his talent. He has managed seven goals and nine assists in 35 games across all competitions this season, which is far below expectations.
Blaugrana boss Xavi Hernandez has been patient with the winger’s inconsistent form, but club president Joan Laporta is reportedly considering cashing in on Raphinha to recoup some of the money spent on his transfer. According to Fichajes, Barcelona is willing to part ways with Fati to alleviate the club’s financial woes, with a price tag of €100 million being slapped on the player. Eredivisie side Ajax is also thought to be interested in Fati’s services and could rival Manchester United for his signature.
