NACON Connect Unveils Robocop
French-based video game publisher NACON has been rapidly releasing games in the last few years, and its upcoming NACON Connect event promises to showcase a whopping 25 of its latest releases. While NACON might not be as well-known as some of its competitors, it has still managed to secure the rights to make a video game based on one of the most iconic science-fiction movies of all time. Fans of the classic 1987 film Robocop will be pleased to know that NACON is set to release a first-person shooter game called Robocop: Rogue City that tells an all-new story within the franchise. The game, which is due to be released in 2023 for PC and next-gen consoles, will feature the original Robocop actor, Peter Weller, lending his voice and likeness to the game.
In addition to Robocop: Rogue City, NACON Connect will showcase other highly-anticipated titles, including the long-awaited fantasy adventure game, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which has suffered multiple delays but is expected to launch in mid-2023. Other games that will be unveiled include the fantasy roguelike Ravenswatch, horror game Ad Infinitum, and the motorcycle sim sequel, TT3: Ride on the Edge. The event may also offer first looks at some unannounced games.
The NACON Connect event will take place on March 9 and will be streamed live on the NACON YouTube channel. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific time (1 p.m. Eastern time). It is worth noting that another video game publisher, Capcom, will also hold an online event on the same day, starting at 2:30 p.m. Pacific time (5:30 p.m. Eastern time).
