The James Webb and Hubble space telescopes captured new images what's
called The Phantom Galaxy
NASA and the European Space Agency released these
amazing photos
the Galaxy also called M74. It located some 32 million light years away from Earth
It is a type of spiral
galaxy known as a grand design spiral
Its spiral arms are prominent
and well-defined
looking at the images from the web
telescope you can see masses of gas and
dust within those spiral arms
The dense cluster of stars at its core photos from the Hubble telescope
revealed bright areas of star formations
Older stars are near the center and younger Bluer stars are in the spiral arms
The web telescope is an infrared telescope while Hubble uses an
advanced camera for surveys
combined the images provide a comprehensive view of the m74 Galaxy
